Lets get started. Please explain what this Twitter account represents in connection with @Target Dustee.

Dustee:    We’re @Target’s behind-the-scenes online magazine, sharing news, insights & our brand’s best stories.

Okay. What was the strategy/reasoning behind developing a magazine for a retail store like @Target?

Dustee:    People are always asking: What’s it like inside Target? This platform allows us to creatively tell our brand story. (DTJ)

It’s focused on three things: storytelling, sharing news & building brand affinity. (DTJ)

I see. Who then will be the voices/writers of the information? Will Ads/deals appear online as well?

Dustee:    The site is managed by our Comm team, and the voice of the site is centered around storytelling. (DTJ)

Our focus isn’t on selling you a pair of yellow shoes, it’s to tell you why yellow is great for spring. (DTJ)

When did it it launch, and what are a few examples of topics that are currently being covered?

Dustee:    We launched Sept. 2011 during #NYFW to tell the Missoni for Target story. (DTJ)

Recent story highlights include an interview w/our new CMO @JJJ_Mpls & a series about #EarthMonth @Target. (DTJ)

The Missoni line was definitely “hot” for @Target! Will announcements about other lines come from the magazine?

Dustee:    Absolutely! We’ve got some really exciting news we’ll be breaking on the site in the coming weeks. Stay tuned! (DTJ)

Super! In addition to the online magazine, how has using Social Media helped @Target connect with their customers?

Dustee:    We’re proud of our relationship w/our guests & social media is a great way for them to share feedback w/us. (DTJ)

@Target wants to be where our guests are & that’s increasingly engaged on social channels. (DTJ)

What are the main @Target channels that customers should be aware of so that they’re heard and connect properly?

Dustee:    We make it easy for guests to connect w/us via social! On Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and now w/our online mag, ABV. (DTJ)

I’m glad you mentioned @Pinterest. Any issues with people pinning images from any of the @Target websites?

Dustee:    We love seeing @Target images shared on Pinterest! I recently joined & enjoy getting lost in the inspiration. (DTJ
