Hello everyone! Today my Twitterview special guest is @JamieYuccas of @wcco TV in Minneapolis. Lets get this stated!
Q – #1 To those that missed the intro video of you @JamieYuccas – VIDEO Where did you grow up, go to HS and then to college?
Jamie: Go Crimson! Maple Grove HS and Go gophers! U of M.
Q – #2 What did you major in at the #UofMN and how did you get interested in that?
Jamie: Mass communications. I wrote for the MN Daily.
then I interned at WCCO and knew I wanted to do tv.
Q – #3 As an intern, what kinds of work or projects would you typically have to do?
Jamie: Print scripts, get coffee, ha ha
The best part was being mentored by #WCCO tv reporters, anchors and photographers.
Q – #4 I bet! Do you remember the 1st story that you had a hand in helping with? Were you an intern for @DeRushaJ at all? :)
Jamie: I left as Jason was just beginning at #WCCO.
I was an intern during 9/11 and when senator wellstone died.
Q – #5 WOW! Big stories. After interning at @wcco, what route did your career take you, which lead you back to @wcco?
Jamie: @WCCO went to Rochester, MN KTTC.
Then onto Fort Myers, FL. Spring training home of the Twins. Then onto #WCCO!
Q – #6 Please share some of your FAVORITE things in life : Restaurant, store, Twin Cities neighborhood, comfort food.
Jamie: favorite things: my dogs. Murphy and Dottie. I tweet pics all the time.
also love being home with family and friends. So does my husband @johnsheehan10. Who grew up in Coon Rapids.
I also love a good glass of wine and my mom’s cooking.
