Q – #1 So @Ramon_DeLeon, tell us a little bit about yourself. Where did you grow up, where you went to school and what was your 1st job?
Ramon: Born and raised in Chicago. 1st Paycheck job was 6th grade working 10hrs a week at a clothing store my parents bought clothes 2 sell
Univ of Illinois at Chicago #UIC I withdrew after 2 semester after a professor scared me w the true cost of education…
when I left college I was already a Dominos Pizza delivery for 3 years…went to work and said I want 2B a Manager
I think I made the right choice because I just Hustle and determination..dont reco for everyone 2 leave school
I still remember my 1st Dominos Pizza delivery as a driver 20+ years ago
Q – #2 Back when “Avoid the Noid” was big right? :) Great story Ramon! So when & how did you get involved with Social Media?
Ramon: Been using the tools of Social Media since b4 the word was invented…in ’05 AOL Instant Messenger was my Twitter B4 Twitter was born

“Same Business Strategy just modern tools” ..since the 80’s I always wanted people to talk about my stuff..
Just like a telephone I realized I need to communicate w customers w the same tools they use to communicate…thus Social Media
In ’98 I helped launch online ordering during a time when u could mostly just order a Book online.-always been ahead of the game
Today the “Mind of Ramon” and the passion of #RamonWOW has me planning stuff NASA has not thought of

Ramon: …the mobile phone
The reason a mobile phone b/c ppl share photos and videos and the mobile allows me 2 make it happen in Real Time
When I 1st started on FB in ’05 and I did not have a .edu email address photos helped me create convo where I had no access
some people might say “What good is a photo or video if I cant share it”..this is b/c we r not running to print the photos like B4
The Mobile Phone is the Social Media traffic cop: it directs where you want your content to go
Q – #5 Lets shift gears slightly. You favorite(s): Comfort food, Social Media book, speaker, hobby and city other than CHI.
Ramon: Comfort Food: Home Cooked Meals, if dining out Brazilian Steakhouses I frequent

City other than Chicago..is tough…I Love London, I could be a Las Vegas cab driver but New York is very special
